This mission has already
begun in the hearts of the Congolese people,
in that, they are hearing the heart of God
for their nation. They are beginning to
see that God’s plan for them is one
of hope and a future; not only for them
but for their childrens' children.
House of Joy has begun a community
project within its mission restoration called
Christ Centered Community Development
of Africa (CCCDA). This project
will include any resource or provision of
helps that is ours to give for the rebuilding
of Congo. This challenge has been initiated
with shipments of medical supplies and equipment
for a hospital in Kinshasa. Hundreds of
Chrisco Churches are ready with trained
doctors and medical personnel for the administration
of such resources. This hospital is the
first of many that will receive supplies
and equipment from donated supplies here
in the United States. Our efforts are met
with generous support from local medical
practices as well as hospitals. Volunteers
are eager to help box and load the supplies
The heart of this vision for
Congo through the Chrisco Churches is to
serve the least of these. But the hospital
is only the beginning of helps prepared
for the Congolese people. Our hope is for
the recovery of their lives through the
provision of helps that generate change-
change in how the people of Congo live,
work, and fit together as a whole community.
We will offer help of creating job opportunities,
teaching, counseling, and ministry on any
level of need that the Lord provides.
As hearts are enlarged, both
theirs and ours, we will see the glory of
loving our neighbors as ourselves. Whether
that community outreach be near or far,
the goal remains the same: to serve
at Congo’s point of need.
WILL YOU HELP?
Come and see the rebuilding
of an impoverished nation, one community
at a time, as we support and encourage the
Chrisco Churches in the love and service
that is ours to give.
